When horses are working, or during hot weather, they regulate their body temperature by perspiring. Perspiration is not only fluid loss as it evaporates, but essential body salts, particularly sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium are also lost. These salts must be supplemented after hard work, or regularly during periods of hot weather. ElectroSalts can be easily added to feed or dissolved in water.
